MEKONG DELTA 1 DAY TRIP

MY THO – BEN TRE (4 Islands)

At 8:00AM. Departing from Mekong Lighthouse Travel or from your Hotel for My Tho city by air-conditioned bus. During the 1.5 car ride, we will pass through by green rice fields before arriving at the beautiful rural My Tho. The first stop is Vinh Trang pagoda. It is the biggest pagoda in the Mekong Delta region. You will be guided to explore the most beautiful temple in the region. block filled with fruit trees in the village of My Hoa in the town of My Phong, on the banks of the Bao Dinh canal. In the main hall of the temple, there are multiple statues of various Buddhas including Amitabha Buddha, Gautama Buddha, various arahants and bodhisattvas.

An unforgettable way of seeing the Mekong Delta to drive along the provincial roads down on the Southern region of Vietnam through paddy rice field, pine-apple plantation, orchard and small hamlets.

After arrival in My Tho, you will ride on a local motor boat along Dragon Island, Unicorn Island, Phoenix island, Turtle Island and stop at famous Unicorn Island. While at the Unicorn Island , you will take a short trek and go for a Orchard, natural pure honey at a bee keeping farm and tradition music.

From there, you will continue your motor boat trip to Ben Tre province to visit a handmade coconut candy workshop. Then transfer to a small motor boat and travel along the lush, green canals, and shop at local restaurant for Vietnamese lunch and bicycle riding around the village. Boat will take you back My Tho, then bus will drive you back to Sai Gon around 5:00 PM.
